How to Export Your Revolut Statement to Excel

Revolut is one of Europe's most popular neobanks, used by millions of businesses and individuals across the EU. Whether you need your transaction data for accounting, tax preparation, or personal budgeting, converting your Revolut PDF statement to Excel is a common need.

This guide shows you the fastest way to get clean, structured data out of your Revolut statement.

Step 1: Download Your Revolut Statement as PDF

  1. Open the Revolut app or the Revolut Business web portal
  2. Navigate to AccountsStatement
  3. Select your date range (monthly is recommended for clean data)
  4. Choose PDF as the format and download

Tip: Revolut also offers CSV export directly from the app. However, the CSV is missing some fields that the PDF contains, such as merchant category and location. Use EuroExtract when you need the full dataset.

Step 2: Upload to EuroExtract

  1. Go to your EuroExtract dashboard and click Upload
  2. Drag and drop your Revolut PDF, or click to browse
  3. Wait a few seconds while our AI reads every transaction

EuroExtract automatically detects that your file is a Revolut statement and applies the correct parsing rules.

Step 3: Export as Excel

Once processing is complete, click Export → xlsx.

Your Excel file will contain:

| Column | Description | |--------|-------------| | Date | Transaction date in YYYY-MM-DD format | | Description | Merchant name or transfer description | | Amount | Positive for credits, negative for debits | | Currency | EUR, GBP, USD, etc. | | Type | credit / debit | | Reference | Revolut transaction reference |

Why Not Just Use Revolut's Built-in CSV?

Revolut's native CSV export is useful for simple cases, but it has limitations:

  • No BIC/IBAN — the CSV doesn't include counterparty IBAN for bank transfers
  • Limited date range — the app limits you to 3 months at a time
  • No multi-currency grouping — transactions in multiple currencies appear in separate files
  • Accounting software incompatibility — the CSV format doesn't match what Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks expect

EuroExtract converts your Revolut PDF to any of these formats in one step:

  • Excel (.xlsx) — for spreadsheet analysis
  • CSV — for generic tools
  • Sage — for Sage 50 and Sage 200
  • Xero — for direct Xero import
  • QuickBooks — for QuickBooks Online
  • FEC — for French tax authorities
  • Cegid — for Cegid accounting software

Frequently Asked Questions

Does EuroExtract support Revolut Business accounts?

Yes. Both personal and business Revolut PDF statements are supported. Business statements often have additional columns (VAT, category, team member) that are preserved in the export.

My Revolut statement has transactions in multiple currencies. How are they handled?

Each transaction is exported with its original currency in the Currency column. The Amount is the transaction amount in the original currency, not converted.

Can I process several months at once?

Upload each monthly PDF separately. The Free plan gives you 3 pages total; the Pro plan gives you 500 pages per month.

Is my data secure?

Your PDF is processed and then deleted immediately. We do not store your financial data — only the extracted transaction list is kept briefly to generate your export file.
